FileRanger for CorVu

After the implementation of a CorVu solution it is challenging to analyse the overall usage of the reporting system. To help solve this problem you can use FileRanger for CorVu.

FileRanger allows the capture and analysis of CorVu reports usage within CorBusiness, CorVu Java Server and/or HyperVu.

FileRanger for Reporting Services

After the implementation of a Microsoft Reporting Services solution it is challenging to analyse the overall usage of the reporting system. Execution logs give access to this information but in a hard to read format.

FileRanger can be used to address this challenge.

FileRanger allows the capture and analysis of report usage. If organisations have distributed Reporting Servers it can also consolidate and analyse all this information together.

FileRanger for other sources

In addition to CorVu and Reporting Services, FileRanger can also import other product log files. This option is available on its own or incorporated into FileRanger CorVu and Reporting Services.

All that is required is a basic delimited text file and FileRanger can do the rest.

FileRanger Schedule Manager

With nightly scheduled tasks there is always the chance these will fail. There are many reasons this may occur but it is important that these failures are communicated as soon as possible to ensure it is managed.

FileRanger Schedule Manager can immediately send an email or SMS indicating a problem has occurred. In addition it can send a message to a user indicating a successful schedule completion.

FileRanger Schedule Manager can be used with scheduled tasks applications that update files e.g. CorVu.
